Bob Moon, CMT, Tai Chi Instructor Integral Fitness Professional Bob is formally trained in Hatha Yoga, Zen meditation, Kodokan Judo, Hap Ki Do karate, Yang Tai Chi Chuan (his preferred martial art), Chi Gong, and Chinese medical theory. He studied the applications of strength conditioning with several of the most forward thinking strength conditioning coaches in the field. From them, he gained a solid understanding of what makes the human body stronger, but soon discovered that with strength training can come comprehensive joint damage and excessive cellular oxidation, hardly a prescription for true fitness and overall health. Bob's personal approach to living a well balanced life is a combination of reflection, meditation, Tai Chi and Chi Gong, SmartBells training and a healthful diet. For him, SmartBells are one of the most important, intelligent and inspired forms of real world strength and fitness conditioning. SmartBells have been a central component of his training routine since 2001. "I find nothing common place about life. As I look closely at life, I find wonder, limitless beauty, and a world that defies description. In order to participate in this somewhat hidden and less culturally obvious world, I play ancient flutes, practice Tai Chi, wonder in the woods, and find reasons for appreciation constantly. I enjoy challenging my beliefs and assumptions, as well as seeing and feeling life free of cultural and social programming, which is a constant practice. I have absolutely no respect for time as measured. There is no time. There is change, there are cycles, there is birth and there is returning, but no "time" that ticks and measures seconds, minutes, hours, weeks, years and millenniums.
