Suzi Teitleman was introduced to SmartBells in 2002 as the Director of Yoga for Crunch Fitness.  She was quoted in the NY Times article on Smart Bells saying, “It kind of changed my life,"...  "It just naturally flowed."

Teitelman immediately saw the compatibility of SmartBells and yoga and the ways in which they enhance one’s practice. She soon started combining SmartBells with asanas, and a new adventure in yoga began! 

Yoga with Smartbells, started as "Yoga Revolution with Smart Bells®" at Crunch in NYC.  It is now called "Smart Yoga," but in essence is a flowing yoga class adding the SmartBell to all postures in one way or other.

Fitness Magazine named Teitelman’s yoga class at Crunch “one of America’s hardest classes”! She is grateful for the accolade and is also quick to assure everyone that her classes are accessible everyone.

The class focuses on using the SmartBell toward better alignment and allowing you to go further in a yoga pose than would have been possible before. The SmartBell is truly a revolutionary tool, and unique yoga prop in her hands and class.

Teitelman appeared on TV several times with SmartBells in NYC as part of the Crunch Fitness launch of “Revolution with SmartBells®.” In 2003, the class was awarded "Best of NY" in NY Magazine.  Most recently she presented “SmartBells and Yoga” at ECA Boston.

Teitelman is currently the Group Fitness Coordinator at The Ponte Vedra Inn and Club in Ponte Vedra, FL and the Smart Bells Yoga Instructor at The Gym. Her flowing yoga/partner class is like no other.

Teitelman graduated from The University of Florida with a BA in Speech Communications and has her yoga certification through the Laughing Lotus Yoga Center. She is the founder of Doga! Yoga for Dogs! She travels worldwide to teach and speak about Doga. She is a Lululemon Ambassador and loves their amazing yoga and fitness clothing, and community store. She was a working actress for many years in NYC, and still keeps her status in the Actors Equity Association. She has two dogs, Coali and Curli, and lives in Jacksonville Beach, Florida.
